This water is so hard it looks like it’s carved from stone! But no this waterballoon has put in a lot of work to get this way. Some say it used 'roids but it firmly denies that and dedicates it to pure willpower. Made and packaged entirely by hand.

Backstory from the artist:
I’ve always wanted to create art but I don’t have talent for drawing or painting. When looking for art to buy I thought that I might as well sketch some ideas of my own in a sketchbook. Just to be creative.

I came across some videos on Tested about urban vinyl/designer toys and was intrigued. I started looking on blogs with news about the industry and I was blown away by how much it suited me. Not as a creator but as a collector. The bright colours and the humour made me fall in love with this type of art. I started collecting by buying a MC Supersized by Ron English. I must have about 20 pieces by him now. I can say the same thing about Jason Freeny. It started with the balloon dog anatomy and I have at least 1 of each bomb he has made. After collecting for a while I wanted to know how these pieces were made. I watched a lot of youtube videos on how to sculpt and make molds. Plus I kept writing down ideas in my sketchbook.

Hard Water was one of those ideas. It seemed like one of the easier ones for me to make so I gave it a shot. A lot of failure and persistence later I now have something I am proud of and I want to experience the next step and see if people want to buy my work. I have made pictures of the whole process and I am going to post these on Instagram and Facebook with tips and fails by me.
