California-based multidisciplinary artist Big C (Colin Hoffman) has a busy month coming up with a panel at SDCC and then a new vinyl toy drop at the end of the month!

On July 21st, Colin will be participating in a 10AM panel at SDCC, the world's biggest pop culture convention which takes place in San Diego July 21-24. The panel topic is "Veterans in the Arts and Pop Culture" and will take place at SDCC in Room 29AB.

Military veterans who have a common goal for creativity and wellness through the arts discuss the community and their unique perspectives as individuals, visual artists, and popular culture creatives.

Just after SDCC wraps, east coast art toy shop Tenacious Toys will be releasing the very first colorway of Colin's Baby Fatts character in vinyl (previous releases have been in resin). The first color will be a super limited 38-piece run in a glow in the dark blue vinyl called "Blue Moon Glow." Baby Fatts vinyl figures are produced in the USA at Mile High Sofubi in Colorado. Priced at $40 each, this soft vinyl Baby Fatts figure will drop at TenaciousToys.com at 4PM EST on July 29th.

Colin has released a book about Baby Fatts titled "Baby Fatts: The World's First Dragon." Illustrated by Playful Gorilla, the paperback is geared towards kids with easy reading and a positive message of self-esteem and compassion (available on Amazon).

"We are thrilled to continue to engage with Colin and further encourage the creative expression of our veterans," says Tenacious Toys CEO Benny Kline. "The fact that we get to work with an SDCC speaker on a new toy release, AND we get to say that this toy was produced right here in the USA, is a really special moment for us. We are looking forward to more projects and artist engagement like this!"
