Fey Folk The Fuath 6-inch resin figure by Weston Brownlee
available now - drop shipped
While the name can refer to a great generality of dangerous Scottish fae creatures, they were often denizens of lochs, rivers, and even the sea itself. Clamoring up from such depths, their intents and interactions with the world of humans was almost always malicious and their appearances always hideous to behold. Drownings and even shipwrecks were said to be wrought by their claws.
Fey Folk is Weston's interpretation of classic European creatures from folklore and mythology. All are hand-painted, cast resin. The Fuath measures 6" tall and is made from cast resin and acrylic. Edition of 50.
Weston Brownlee has exhibited at Stranger Factory and Meow Wolf and is now diving into the handmade collectible scene.
