This is a run of 5 hand painted "porcelain" style Skinny Caps, paint and customization by Ryan aka Ophelia Toys. This is a style that Ryan is developing and has applied to a few other assorted designer toys in the past. He notes that his artificial gold leaf replicates the Kintsugi technique for repairing pottery.

Kintsugi (金継ぎ, "golden joinery") is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with urushi lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. As a philosophy, it treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise.

Kintsugi has a very distinctive and beautiful look. Here in the designer toy realm, Ryan at Ophelia Toys has developed a kintsugi-esque style of painting on vinyl and resin. Really beautiful customs!
