available now - drop shipped
The Barghest is a monstrous shapeshifter often taking the form of a Black Dog. With huge teeth, claws, and fiery red eyes it is a goblin to be feared and like so many fae hounds, one often regarded as a portent of death. Most noteably sighted leading packs of hounds after the death of someone prominent, it was also said to haunt the country around York and was known to prey on the unwary.
Fey Folk is Weston's interpretation of classic European creatures from folklore and mythology. All are hand-painted, cast resin. The Barghest measures 6" tall and is made from cast resin and acrylic. Edition of 50.
Weston Brownlee has exhibited at Stranger Factory and Meow Wolf and is now diving into the handmade collectible scene.
