What make resin special?

Resin collectible figures and sculptures are often produced by the artists themselves, in their own homes or workshops, in very limited quantities. Some of the resin toys in this section are produced in slightly higher numbers (100 or more) and are therefore produced in factories in China. The majority of these resin action figures are produced in the USA in tiny quantities of 10 to 25 pieces. We've often said that resin collectibles are a more accurate and true representation of the artist's ideas and sculpts. (By contrast, vinyl art toys go through many iterations and many processes on the factory side before they arrive at your doorstep, and in some ways that removes them by a few degrees from the original concept that the artist had in mind.)
